Friday Night Concert Series
Volunteer Opportunities


Selection Committee -- The Selection committee is made up of a cross-section of Iowa City residents familiar with the local music scene. Interested individuals will discuss their interest with the series chair to determine their qualifications and level of interest. Selections are made in January/February for the current year.

Event Volunteer -- One to two individuals are needed to help at each Friday Night Concert Series (total of 16 weeks). These individuals are responsible for setting up and distributing materials on display, including programs, flyers and general information. Sometimes volunteers assist bands with the sale of their merchandise. Time commitment for each concert is approximately 6 p.m. - 9:45 p.m. Event volunteers ARE NOT required to attend every concert, however, we would like volunteers to commit to at least 5 concerts during the season if at all possible.
