What can you expect at the 2015 Iowa Arts Festival? Many of the things you have come to expect, and some expansions and additions!
With the expanded layout of the festival, there will be even more FUN Stops for the kids throughout the festival!
The Emerging Artist Pavilion, sponsored by Rockwell Collins and US Bank is growing! With a record number of submissions this year, we are thrilled to announce there will be 20 student artists displaying and selling their work on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the US Bank Parking lot at the corner of Washington and Linn Streets. be sure to stop by and check out the amazing talent these new artists have to share!
The addition of the Street Stage at the corner of Iowa Avenue and Linn Street will provide the opportunity for a wide range of local performers including music, dance, spoken word and more! Watch for a complete schedule in early May!
Art Goes Live! is back on Washington Street with artist demonstrations right outside of Iowa Artisans Gallery, The Englert Theater, Chait Galleries and Beadology! Thanks to these four businesses for providing this unique opportunity our festival attendees!
