The Iowa Arts Festival, The Toyota-Scion of Iowa City Jazz Festival, The Friday Night Concert Series presented by the Iowa City Press Citizen, and The MidWestOne Bank Free Movie Series joined together in 2005 under the umbrella organization Summer of the Arts. In 2009 we added a new event -- Bank of the West's Sand in the City to close out the summer. The tradition of providing FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY, FUN events continues! Summer of the Arts provides overall marketing and fund development support to strengthen these arts and culture events as they grow.
